Category: Sport Fishing Length: 42ft
Make/Model: Uniflite 42 Converible Location: LaSalle, MI United States
Year: 1977 Price: $60,000
The Uniflite 42 is a sturdy West Coast fisherman with a conservative profile masking her rugged construction. She is built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam and moderate transom deadrise. Hull 610 has the galley down, two stateroom interior with the second head converted to a tool and storage room. this could easily be converted back into a second head if desired. This boat has a single station on the fully enclosed flybridge. The tournament style bridge gives good vision field in all directions and ample seating for 6. This sportfish has twin 6-71 310 HP J and T Detroit diesels and a 7.5 kW Onan diesel generator. She carries 500 gallons of fuel and 160 gallons of water, both in dual tanks. Cruise is 17-18 MPH with a fuel burn of about one mile per gallon. Interior is updated and in excellent condition. Large windows with custom window treatment offer plenty of light for the roomy salon. A flat screen TV, AM/FM/CD/Cassette stereo and custom bar with ice maker are found in the salon. A couch to port and matching upholstered chairs to starboard. A high low, drop leaf table and a teak end table urn the salon into a dining and entertaining center. Three steps lead down to the galley and staterooms. Galley is equipped with microwave, three burner Princess stove with oven, ample storage and new refrigerator.Master stateroom is to port and has been nicely decorated. Several drawers, lockers and cabinets make stowage no problem. Just ahead is the head with large shower, basin, Crowne head with 40 gallon holding tank and ample stowage. A forward cabin with bunk berths is great for kids or company. There is access to the head from both staterooms. Just aft of the forward stateroom is a tool and storage room which was converted from a second head. If you are not aware of the Uniflite brand, they are sturdy, well built, West Coast style boats that ride like a dream and are tough as nails. This boat just completed an 800 mile Great lakes Cruise and performed very well in less than optimum conditions. She has radar, three VHF, two on bridge, one in salon, GPS and full instrumentation as you would expect on a boat this size. There is a Zodiac with 15 HP Johnson with Weaver Davit on teak swim platform. This Uniflite has always been on Lake Michigan since new, until moving to Lake Erie recently. She has never been fished other than occasional hook and line fishing at anchor. She is quite a boat.
